For 32140 cells: weld a 0.15 mm nickel-plated base layer first, then weld 0.15 mm nickel-plated strip over 0.2 mm copper
Copper note: 0.15 mm nickel-plated strip over 0.25 mm copper was more reliable than 0.2 mm nickel-plated strip over 0.25 mm copper. Results vary with material, surface condition, probe pressure and settings.

Safety
This is a resistance spot welder. Press both probes firmly against the strip for full, gap-free contact before triggering. Poor contact can cause arcing, excessive heat, weak welds or damage. Wear eye protection and test settings carefully.
